Should I keep bottled wine in a wine cooler or in a dry place to store it?
I think to get a wine rack in my basement or a wine cooler. However, is it bad for the wine cool for long periods of time if you do not plan to open soon? Or does it not matter either way?

A wine cooler keeps wine simply a constant temperature and humidity – I keep one in my kitchen at about 17 degrees. Wine must be stored somewhere wet to avoid drying out the corks and tampering vin.Avec white wines do not matter so much if you let it sit for a while, but they will not develop their flavors years. If you do not cool the wine, can not get out of cold storage until you drink it, as some wines formed a white mist – which does not really affect the taste, but does not look nice .

Best to simply store them in a cool, dark place (eg basement or in a cupboard under the stairs!), Then the reds, open 45 minutes before drinking to allow to come to room temperature and ‘breathe’, and for white wines made in the refrigerator several hours before serving.

If you talk about storage, keep in the basement, away from light and dry. Make sure it is lying on its side and try not to move the cooler go beaucoup.Dans whites you will drink over the next two weeks, or you will drink red in 5-7 days ahead .
